JETT Records is proud to welcome Benno Blome and his friends on the label. Benno Blome is the driving force of his own company, the label Sender Records, which has had dozens of timeless releases since it was founded in 1999 ; Benno is also a producer who unceasingly develops his vision of hypnotically rocking, minimalism, either solo or in joint projects as on this new JETT Records EP.

On A-side Benno collaborates with Sebastian Klenk to deliver “Checkin on my babe” a full groove minimal house hit Berliner spring flavored.

B-side “Free fall” shows another collaboration with Hopperider and singer Rachele, the result is an amazing neominimalistic poprock track where strength gets along with sensuality.

The talented D.Diggler, already featured on JETT Records 003, signs a powerful deep techno “Checkin” remix with heavy groove and mental touch. On the flip JETT Records manager Fred Siera revisits “Free fall” and gives to original a deep minimal line.

Anhura Vinyl’s debut in the exclusive and acclaimed vinyl edition is, as it was expected, a complete success. Max Chapman & Aj Christou are in charge of “Gruds & Kecks”. This release starts with a moderate disco house nearly background melody at some points, and evolves into more tech grounds which plunge us directly in a deep, retro-spatial sphere. A place where this electronic and bass sounds coming from the 80s’ and 90s’ provide it with amazing timelessness whenever it is heard. It is an uncommon release diverging from the mainstream and ideal to start a completely promising series.

Sishi Rosch takes “Gruds & Kecks” into the electronic house lands. As in the previous case, he furnishes it with speed and risk, concretion regarding its percussive development. Always maintaining its electronic melody, he seems to want to direct it to the club scene, and he undoubtedly makes it.

Max Chapman & Aj Christou’s second track follows “Gruds & Kecks” disco house line. “Agwa” contains the characteristic spatial and percussive elements from the 80s’, as well as an outstanding electro presence and weight. We could say that these two tracks are like well matched brothers as some elements reappear, those which does not give us any clue about the creation date and their real intentions.

Finally, “Agwa” remix by Miguel Puente conserves its vintage foundation and mysterious groove, but he provides it with some – and almost necessary- bmps to be enjoyed in any dance floor. Those funky sounds, the appropriate synthetic bass and the blurred and faltering voices make it different from the original and take it to an even less concrete sphere, if that’s possible. Elements which make it specially interesting and well constructed.

Jordan Peak is already a well known name for those in the know, with a string of fantastic releases on Tsuba, One, Morris/Audio, Saved, Robsoul and Area Remote (phew!) Jordan has ticked the boxes of all of our favourite labels here at Klasse and its a pleasure to welcome him to the family for his own release.

The Missdemeanour EP carries on Mr. Peak’s tradition for upfront and old school house stylings. Simple and effective, his tracks are built with the dancefloor as their number one priority. Move with it builds on a looser-than-loose groove, garage hits and lowdown bassline, the track evolves and reaches its pinnacle with strings, synth stabs and a rolling 909 snare assault. Tried and tested…

Man of the moment and all-round talented guy, Huxley focuses his energy on a different mood for his fantastic Warehouse Dub remix. Taking things down a notch and towards an entirely darker direction, Huxley works atmospheric FX and bass hits around the original vocal. Still retaining the original garage-swagger, the remix uses strings and warm-pads to build the pressure and drops into a mean bassline, which confidently rounds things off.

Missdemeanour carries on with the dark and deeper theme, Jordan’s trademark distorted groove providing the rough foundation of the track. Spooky effects and a simple composition intensify the cheeky sample that comes in every now and then, which then signifies that all hell is about to break loose.

“GRASSWAXX RECORDINGS,” a leading label in Japan’s underground music scene, is releasing the label’s host, RAWFILA’s original track “gravity” and “debris” on side A. On side B, are the best sound quality Techno remix’s by a
track maker, “A.MOCHI”, who is now praised by world class top DJ’s, and is famous for his releases from LEN FAKI’s label, “Figure.”

Side A by RAWFILA is consisted of, “gravity,” a dope minimal track, from a combination of soft noise and hypno parts, with a stoic roaring beat that accelerates with a metallic dub effect, and “debris,” an Industrial Techno track with an edged dope synth.  Side B with “A.MOCHI’s” remix of “gravity,” a masterpiece of dangerous deep dub techno, is created with his trademark of uncompromising bass and heavy percussion.  The dubby bass creates a psychedelic, three dimensional sound image you will never forget.

Counter Pulse stays substantial to the underground model & presents a mysterious alias by the Scandinavian artist “Lodbrok”. In contrast to other vinyl labels today Counter Pulse show no agenda to pick up the current trends and safe-name remixers to gain quick sales.

Feukt Call EP is precisely all that in a nicely shaped up four tracker release including a remix by Henning Baer from Sonic Groove, plus a remix from AnD from Black Sun Records.

Ponderous irregular rhythms with a focus on erosion & intense hi-hat patterns with cautiously arranged stabs is what this EP is all about.
